The Rio Virulite is a hand-held device which when held against the infected area, uses infra-red light (not visible to the human eye) to treat the cold sore. The light acts as a catalyst which boosts the immune system into healing the area much faster, usually healing the cold sore in a quarter of the natural healing time. With regular use, the cold sores may never return.
