What is a SAD Lamp?
SAD lamps provide a balanced spectrum light equivalent to standing outdoors on a clear day. Use of a SAD lamp can make up for any light deficiency that you may otherwise be experiencing.

What are the symptoms of Seasonal Affective Disorder?
The symptoms are varied but are generally associated with low spirits, changing appetite or weight, sleep problems or lack of energy. These symptoms are often referred to as 'Winter Blues'.

Can anyone use the SAD Lamp?
Yes, although the SAD Lamp should not be used if laser corrective eye surgery was carried out within the last 30 days, or if medication is being taken which renders the user photosensitive (extremely sensitive to light).

Are there any side-effects?
After the first few uses, some eye strain or light headache may be experienced due to the body's adjustment to the light, such side-effects tend to disappear quickly.
